Any questions?
Acoustic panels absorb sound waves inside a room, reducing echo, reverberation, and background noise. This makes the space sound cleaner and more comfortable. However, they do not block sound from travelling between rooms — that requires soundproofing (mass, decoupling, and sealed gaps). If your goal is to stop your neighbour hearing you, that's a different solution. If your goal is to make your room sound better, acoustic panels are exactly what you need.
The most effective spots are the "first reflection points" — the walls and ceiling where sound bounces before reaching your ears. In a home studio or listening room, these are typically the side walls level with the listening position, and the ceiling directly above. Corners are also high-impact zones, as low frequencies build up there. If you're treating an office or living space, spreading panels across multiple walls gives the best overall result.
No professional is needed. EZ Acoustics panels are designed for straightforward DIY installation. They can be mounted directly onto plaster, concrete, brick, or wooden walls using screws or heavy-duty adhesive strips. Each panel comes with a simple installation guide. For ceiling mounting, we recommend two people for safety and ease. For best acoustic performance, leaving a small air gap between the panel and the wall helps absorption at lower frequencies.
Absolutely. EZ Acoustics panels are available in a range of standard sizes and fabric colours to suit different interiors. We also offer custom sizing and bespoke fabric options for larger or project-specific orders. If you have a specific dimension, shape, or colour in mind, get in touch with our team and we'll put together a quote for you.
Acoustic panels are low-maintenance. For regular upkeep, a light vacuum with a soft brush attachment is all that's needed to remove dust. Spot marks on the surface can be gently dabbed with a lightly damp cloth — avoid soaking the panel. Panels are intended for indoor use only and should be kept away from areas with direct moisture or prolonged high humidity. With normal care, they will maintain their appearance and performance for many years.
